Mom's Chedder Cheese Fondue

1 lb chedder cheese, shredded
2 T flour
1 c milk (whole -I used skim once and it did NOT work!)
1 tsp grated onion
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
pinch of cayenne
salt to taste

Mix shredded cheese and flour until cheese is well-coated. In a fondue pot, heat milk and onion to not-quite boiling. Stir in the cheese a little at a time, continuing to heat and stir until all the cheese is melted. Add Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and salt. Keep hot over alcohol burner. Server with french bread cubes, fondue style.
